Section 1 -- Privacy Policy: This Privacy Statement describes the ways in which the Licensor collects, holds and uses information about individual persons or entities who visit and use this website. BY USING THIS WEBSITE OR THE SOFTWARE, LICENSEE CONSENTS TO THE COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION AS SET FORTH IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY.  LICENSEE ALSO ACKNOWLEDGES THAT LICENSOR MAY PERIODICALLY CHANGE, MODIFY, ADD OR REMOVE OR OTHERWISE UPDATE THIS PRIVACY POLICY AT ITS SOLE DISCRETION, WITHOUT PRIOR NOTIFICATION TO ANYONE. However, Licensor will always handle Licensee Personal Information in accordance with the Privacy Policy that was in effect at the time of collection. It is the Licensor’s intention to post changes to Licensor’s privacy policy on this page so that Licensee is fully informed concerning the types of information Licensor is gathering, how Licensor will use it, and under what circumstances it may be disclosed. Personal Data includes both information personally identifying Licensee, such as name, contact information and address, as well as information regarding Licensee’s use of the GRIF HOCKEY Site, such as the content accessed and output created. Licensee does not collect sensitive personal data.

 

Section 2– Processing of Personal Data:  Generally, Licensor will only process Licensee Personal Data as described in the Privacy Policy. However, Licensor reserves the right, to conduct additional processing to the extent permitted or required by law, or in support of any legal or criminal investigation.

 

Section: 3 -- Intended use of Personal Data: Use of Licensor’s GRIF HOCKEY Site requires registration with Personal Data, allowing Licensee to visit and have access to the GRIF HOCKEY Site and to provide information on Licensee’s choices of samples and its delivery address and preferences.  In these situations, if Licensee chooses to withhold any Personal Data requested by Licensor, it will not be possible for Licensee to gain access to the Licensor’s site, or for Licensor to respond to any of Licensee’s queries or to provide the samples requested.  Licensee may at any time request removal of its identifiable Personal Data from our records, or to correct any incorrect Personal Data in our files. Licensor will not be able to provide any further services to Licensee until the necessary, correct information has been provided.

 

Section 4 – Collection of Personal Data: Licensor may collect and use Personal Data to provide Licensee with access to GRIF HOCKEY Site and other Licensor products or services including those of the listed manufacturers, to bill Licensee for additional products and services Licensee may request, to market additional products and services which Licensor thinks may be of interest to Licensee, or to communicate with Licensee for other purposes of fulfilling Licensee’s requests for services, for purposes that are evident from the circumstances or about which Licensor informs Licensee when Licensor collects Personal Data from Licensee.

 

Section 5 – Sale of Personal Data:  Licensor may sell, share, or otherwise distribute Licensee Personal Data to third parties as provided in this Privacy Policy. Licensor may disclose Licensee Personal Data to other Licensor affiliates worldwide that agree to treat it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Personal Data may also be transferred to third parties who act for or on Licensor’s behalf, for further processing in accordance with the purpose(s) for which the data were originally collected or may otherwise be lawfully processed, such as products or services delivery, evaluating the usefulness of this website, marketing, data management or technical support. These third parties have contracted with Licensor to only use Personal Data for the agreed upon purposes.  Licensor may sell aggregated data derived from GRIF HOCKEY Site users for the purposes of marketing its own services.  Licensor may use aggregated data derived from GRIF HOCKEY Site users to track traffic on the Site, to derive other information about the use of the GRIF HOCKEY Site, to improve its performance and product and service offerings and to market its products and services. Provided however that Licensor will not provide any information that identifies Licensee in any such aggregated data and Licensor will not sell data to third parties for the purpose of permitting such third parties to market their products and services to Licensee that have not been requested by Licensee.

 

Section 6: -- Transfer of Personal Data:  Personal Data collected from Licensee may also be transferred to a third party in the event that the business of this site or a part of it and the Licensee data connected with it is sold, assigned or transferred, in which case we would require the buyer, assignee or transferee to treat Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Also, Personal Data may be disclosed to a third party if Licensor is required to do so because of an applicable law, court order or governmental regulation, or if such disclosure is otherwise necessary in support of any criminal or other legal investigation or proceeding here or abroad.

 

Section 7: -- Right of access to Personal Information, Correction and Objection: Whenever Licensor processes Personal Data; Licensor takes reasonable steps to ensure that Personal Data is kept accurate and up to date for the purposes for which it was collected. Licensor will provide Licensee with the ability to object to the processing of Personal Data if such processing is not reasonably required for a legitimate business purpose as described in this policy or Licensor’s compliance with law. In the case of electronic direct marketing, Licensor will provide Licensee with a method to opt out of receiving further marketing materials or with a method to opt in if required by law. If Licensee wishes to contact Licensor regarding Licensor’s use of Licensee Personal Data or object to the processing of Licensee Personal Data, Licensee must email Licensor. If Licensee contacts Licensor, include the name of the website where Licensee provided the information, as well as the specific information Licensee would like Licensor to correct, update or delete plus a proper identification of Licensee and authentication of the representative’s authority to act for Licensee. Requests to delete personal data will be subject to any applicable legal and ethical reporting or document filing or retention obligations imposed on Licensor.

Section 8: Compliance with Law: Licensee and Licensor are each responsible for managing Personal Data in accordance with applicable laws, rules and regulations. 

Section 9: -- No Export:  Licensee agrees to comply with all export and import laws, regulations and restrictions of the United States and its agencies or authorities, and shall not export, re-export or permit downloading or viewing or SaaS use of any aspect of the GRIF HOCKEY Site, including any content, in violation thereof, or without all required approvals, licenses and exemptions.  Licensee may not export, re-export or permit downloading or viewing or SaaS use of any aspect of the GRIF HOCKEY Site to any person, end-user or entity in, or a national or resident of any country subject to United States export restrictions or embargoes. This Article shall survive termination of this License.
